Nutrition Education for Teams & Organizations

A team meeting where everyone gets the same generic slide deck about “eating clean” doesn’t move the needle much. What actually helps is nutrition education built around your sport, your training schedule, and the specific problems your athletes are running into, whether that’s underfueling during a heavy training block, confusion about supplements, or a team culture around food that needs some gentle correcting.

Andrea works with high school and college athletic programs, club teams, gyms, and organizations that want their athletes fueling well, not guessing.

What a Team Engagement Can Include

Every group is different, so this usually starts as a conversation about what your team actually needs rather than a fixed package. Common formats:

One-time workshops — a focused session on a specific topic: race-day fueling, supplement basics, fueling during two-a-days, or body image and sport
Season-long programming — a series of shorter touchpoints spread across a training cycle, timed to when athletes actually need the information
Ongoing consulting — regular availability to athletic trainers, coaches, or team physicians who want a sports dietitian in the loop without hiring one full-time
Individual assessments within a team context — one-on-one sessions offered to team members alongside the group programming, for athletes who need something more specific

Who This Works For

  • High school and college athletic departments
  • Club and travel teams
  • Gyms and training facilities running group programs (HYROX, CrossFit, endurance clubs)
  • Corporate athletic or wellness programs

FAQ

Do you work with teams outside Boston and San Diego?

Yes, workshops and consulting can be delivered virtually for teams outside those two markets. In-person sessions are based in Boston, MA and San Diego, CA.

How much does a team program cost?

Pricing depends on group size, session format, and whether this is a one-time workshop or ongoing programming — reach out for a quote.

Can individual athletes on the team also get one-on-one coaching?

Yes. Group programming and individual coaching aren’t mutually exclusive, and a lot of teams do both, group workshops for baseline education plus one-on-one sessions for athletes who need more specific support.

Do you work with coaches and athletic trainers directly, not just athletes?

Yes. A lot of the ongoing consulting relationships are with coaching and training staff who want a sports dietitian available for questions as they come up, not just athlete-facing workshops.
